E Mail Hacked and Compromised

My Friends and Fellow Stormers.

My e mail, anthony_tang_28@yahoo.com.sg was hacked into on 9th Dec.

The culprit used my contact directory in my contact list and sent an e mail to all my friends that I am stranded in Europe and to those who responded, he asked for $2,000 pounds to be credited into my account at Western Union Bank.

Many of my friends called me on my mobile and found out that it as a hoax.

A few went to WU Bank to try to remit the money when they were warned by the cashier there of a fruad like this going on.

This prompted my friends to call me first before sending the money.

I reported the case to the police in Singapore, but they said that they will not investigate as no money changed hands and the question of fruad or cheating did not happen.

My entire contact list of e mail addresses was wiped out, and I will need some time to build them up again.

The culprit hsve taken over my account and changed my password, thereby barring me out. In the meantime, I have written to Yahoo in Singappore, hoping that a solution can be found to recover my web address,

Will all who received this mail, treat it as a hoax.

Metzeler Tires

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend of a storm-rider and because it concerns all bikers in Singapore.

" Dear Stormers

Can anyone comment or advise what's happening to Metzeler tires in Singapore? I want to buy Marathon ME 880 110/90 x 18 and 150/90 x 15 for my Yamaha Vmax. They are still listed in the Metzeler catalog but it seems the main importer (JR Singapore) is reluctant to bring them in now. Sadly, there are few alternatives for my bike and I think they are the best tires I've used. Other bikes use this size too - not just the Vmax. I spoke to JR and have their permission to quote what they told me as follows:-

- don't want to keep stock of unpopular sizes

- can order with a deposit

- no guarantee when they can be delivered - maybe next year

- no guarantee the tires will be fresh

The first three I can live with the the fourth one sounds a bit scary to me.

I've had no replies from Metzelermoto in Italy or Metzeler head office in Germany or to a message I posted on the Singapore Vmax owners club forum. I just wondered if anyone had any knowledge of an alternative source or any other advice to offer.

After 15 years and 13,000 km, I have finally found a buyer who is passionate enough to keep the old faithful classic in its present immaculate condition. Although I have had previous similar offers, I was reluctant to let it go.

I hope the new owner will shower the same love that I have bestowed upon this wonderful machinery and allow this classic to be preserved over the years.

Greetings from Team 27 Motorcycle Club Singapore.

We are pleased to inform all of you this year 3 Nation Charity Ride is to be held in Malacca, Malaysia. The tentative date of event are 18- 20 November 2011 and this year event is host by Super Bikers Club Malaysia(SBCM). They will be assisted by Malacca Bikers.

storm rider i guess is a popular name cos' when i check facebook there's several club and even individual uses the name storm riders. The clubs are mainly from the america and there's also from malaysia. Are storm rider mc in singapore n malaysia the same? and sh*t listen to this...there's even a gay group in facebook using the name storm riders!!!! JM bikers of s'pore have a page in facebook and from what i see the group is getting a lot of notice from the facebook users.soooo in my opinion if storm riders mc have a page in facebook wouldn't that expose the club more to the public.Even though we have our own site some bikers don't know about it. so committe.... how about it???

Starting 3 May (Tuesday) , 7.30-9pm, 12 sessions, $70 (one nite $5.85 ,I think it is affordable)

Remember our dear Stormer Mr.Robin?....i called him two months ago, He is the teacher , very good in Guitar, a nice man...Don't know why he was not in the AGM last week

I told him I might be too old for the lesson , he told me his eldest student in his class now is 78 yrs old, wowlau !!! !!!!

My present ballroom dancing class with Sunny Low is already $110 for only 8 sessions , so guitar class is more worth it....no need to hold hands, hold the guitar only
